Job summary

Whirlwind Steel Buildings Inc is seeking a Production Associate to support daily manufacturing operations in our Houston facility. You will assist with preparing work areas, equipment setup, and on-the-line tasks, while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and eager to learn. Responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, inspecting products for defects, and coordinating with the team to sustain efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing or warehouse processes.
• Strong mathematical skills and accuracy in completing tasks.
• Physical stamina to lift or move heavy objects and work in a warehouse.
• Overhead crane experience is a plus and helpful for material handling.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• Must tolerate working in warehouse conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Help inspect products for visible defects during production.
• Maintain a clean and organized production area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Report safety concerns or incidents promptly.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to support workflow.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and learn new tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
