Job summary

Nashville Wire Products seeks an entry-level Production Operator to support the manufacturing line in McEwen, TN. You will operate basic machinery, load materials, assemble or pack products, and help maintain safe, clean work areas on the shift.

You will work under close supervision, learn process steps, and participate in continuous improvement training as part of a team-oriented plant environment. No prior experience is required, and opportunities exist to grow into more advanced roles.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training.
• Ability to understand written material and communicate with co-workers.
• Basic arithmetic abilities (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

Responsibilities

• Operate basic productivity equipment.
• Move materials between workstations.
• Assist other operators by loading/unloading jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
• Assemble and/or pack products.
• Load and unload machines, conveyors, pallets or automatic lines.
• Keep accurate counts of production parts.
• Conduct simple quality inspections.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
