Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries in Oroville, California is hiring for multiple entry-level production positions at our sawmill. Earn $23.53 per hour, with training provided and room for advancement within the plant.

Work includes learning various machine stations, shoveling wood byproducts, stacking lumber, and occasional overtime or weekend shifts in a fast-paced environment. We offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 6 months of recent related labor work experience.
• Excellent verifiable work references and attendance record.
• Demonstrated ability to be highly productive in repetitious work.
• All applicants must be at least age 18.

Responsibilities

• Find yourself on a new career path in an entry-level production labor position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision.
• Learn to fill in on various machine stations within our innovative manufacturing facility.
• Shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts.
• Stack and pile lumber.
• The work is fast-paced and can, at times, be demanding.
• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments.
