Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is hiring for an entry-level production labor role at our Western Veneer division in White City, Oregon. You will learn and explore multiple jobs within the plant site, including production, equipment maintenance, and potential supervision.

Responsibilities

• Find yourself in a new career path in wood veneer manufacturing in an entry-level production labor position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision
• Learn to fill in on various machine stations within our innovative wood veneer manufacturing facility
• General production labor duties: shovel and sweep wood byproducts, stack and pile lumber and veneer
• The work is fast-paced and can, at times, be demanding
• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments
• Work may consist of some overtime during busy production times
• Work schedule is Monday through Thursday 10-hour shifts
