About the Position

We are hiring swing shift entry-level labor positions in the Western Veneer division at White City, Oregon. The role offers a new career path in wood veneer manufacturing with opportunities to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Find yourself in a new career path in wood veneer manufacturing in an entry-level production labor position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision.
• Learn to fill in on various machine stations within our innovative wood veneer manufacturing facility.
• General production labor duties: shovel and sweep wood byproducts, stack and pile lumber and veneer.
• The work is fast-paced and can, at times, be demanding.
• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments.

Work schedule is Monday through Thursday 10-hour swing shifts, generally 4:30 pm to 3:00 am. Work may include overtime during busy production times.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have recent, related work history and verifiable references.
• All applicants must be at least age 18.
