Job summary

Domtar Corporation in Nekoosa, Wisconsin, is seeking hourly, entry-level production workers to join our pulp & paper operations. You will be involved in operating machinery and supporting production teams across shifts.

The role is full-time permanent with a pay rate of $30.16 per hour plus shift differentials, plus competitive benefits and paid time off after eligibility. New hires can expect medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401(k) with company match, along with paid vacation time

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years full or part-time work/school experience within the last 4 years.
• Must be available to work rotating 12-hour, '4 on 4 off', shifts that include weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.
• Must be able to perform typical physical aspects of the job, including standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, twisting, reaching, navigating stairs.

omtar’s Nekoosa, Wisconsin pulp & paper mill is currently seeking hourly, entry-level production workers who havea safety mindset. Our career progression providesopportunities to gain experienceand developskills in the pulp and paper-making manufacturing technologies while increasing your earnings.

Workers in the entry level labor pool are assigned to operating and service departments to assist with extra workload, cover absences, and supplement crews required to meet unusual changes in the workload. Job duties may include but are not limited to; operation of machinery, forklift/clamp truck operating and general housekeeping.

New employees earn $30.16 an hour plus shift differential while working in entry level positions. The rate of pay is determined by the position the employee works in that day. Domtar offers competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401(k) with company match. Benefits are effective on the 1st of the month following the hire date. New hires earn one week of paid vacation after six months of employment and an additional week after one year of service. Domtar also recognizes 11 paid holidays.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma orGED.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years full or part-time work/school experience within the last 4years.

• Ability to pass computer-based aptitude testing, panel interview, pre-employment physical capabilities test, pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, and a background check.
