Job summary

ZEISS in Missouri is seeking a Production Assembler to manufacture, assemble, inspect, test, and package medical devices in compliance with GMP and GDP. The role requires basic computer skills and 0-1 year of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 0-1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer skills, including navigating web browsers.
• Previous experience in medical device manufacturing is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble products according to approved manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
• Consistently meet established production output, quality, and productivity goals.
• Learn and perform assigned product lines and manufacturing processes as directed by the manager or supervisor.
• Review work order Bills of Materials (BOMs) to gather, verify, and stage materials for assembly, inspection, and packaging.
• Perform basic manufacturing processes in designated areas, including tumbling, cleanroom operations, and packaging.
• Prepare products for sterilization in accordance with established procedures.
• Operate production equipment and perform routine maintenance within the scope of training and authorization.
