Job summary

Big Rig World is hiring an Entry Level Product Photographer to create clean, high-quality images for ads, promotions, and websites. You will ensure consistency with brand standards and work closely with the team to maintain uniform product visuals across materials.

This is an entry-level, on-the-job training role based on Hubbard, OH. The position is full-time and on-site, with pay in the range of $15.00–$16.00 per hour, plus standard benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Proficiency using an iPhone and basic photo editing tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with Lightroom and Photoshop preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Capture product images with consistent lighting, angles, and placement across product categories.
• Set up lighting, backgrounds, and camera angles for consistent, high-quality images.
• Crop, resize, and optimize images to meet company standards.
• Ensure each shoot includes cleaning the product and reviewing images.
• Convert image files to JPEG or PNG formats.
• Use measurement references to accurately represent product size.
• Maintain composition and negative space for future cropping.
• Follow procedures for smaller items with ruler references when needed.

Job Overview

Big Rig World is looking for an Entry Level Product Photographer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on creating clean, quality, and consistent images of our products for use across ads, promotions, websites, and other marketing materials. You will work closely with our team to ensure images meet brand standards and maintain consistency across our website.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture product images with consistent lighting, angles, and placement across product categories.
• Set up and adjust lighting, backgrounds, and camera angles to ensure consistent, quality images for similar product types.
• Crop, resize, and optimize images that meet company requirements and ensures that product images align with Big Rig World's standards.
• Ensure each product shoot includes steps such as cleaning the product, setting up proper lighting, and reviewing images before moving products.
• Convert image files to JPEG or PNG format.
• Use measurement references to accurately represent product size.
• Ensure photos comply with rules of composition, maintain negative space, and allow for future cropping or resizing without losing product focus.
• Follow established procedures for smaller items, including ruler references when needed in the picture.

This is an entry Level Position, on the job training will be provided.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in using an iPhone, lighting equipment, and basic photo editing software.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to notice small inconsistencies.
• Ability to optimize images for web use, ensuring proper file formats and sizes.
