Job summary

PDI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Product Owner to help shape products from concept to delivery. You will work with product managers, developers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into epics, stories, and acceptance criteria, aided by AI tools.

The role offers learning from experienced product leaders, exposure to modern technologies, and opportunities to grow within product ownership paths. Hybrid work arrangement is available in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Information Systems, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and the SDLC.
• Familiarity with APIs, middleware, services, and SQL.
• Exposure to Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Figma, Miro, or similar tools.
• Experience using AI tools like Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT.
• Interest in prompt engineering and iterating prompts for AI-generated stories and criteria.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to create user journeys, wireframes, and basic diagrams.
• Ability to organize priorities and manage deadlines.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers to understand strategy, priorities, and customer needs.
• Translate business requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria using AI tools.
• Build and maintain reusable prompt templates for Story generation and prep.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, support, and business teams.
• Assist with prioritizing and maintaining the product backlog.
• Gather feedback from customers and stakeholders to identify improvements.
• Test new functionality and ensure stories meet the definition of done.
• Support release planning and delivery expectations for new features.
• Track product performance and identify UX enhancement opportunities.
• Document processes, workflows, and product requirements.
