Job summary

Qnity in Cleveland, OH is seeking an entry-level Buyer I to support daily procurement activities, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

You will work closely with production and inventory control, create POs, obtain quotes, review invoices, and help keep ERP/MRP data accurate.

The role offers hands-on learning in a fast-paced tech environment and opportunities to grow within our procurement team.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 0–2 years of purchasing or supply chain experience (internships or co-ops welcome).
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and process purchase orders for materials, components, and services.
• Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery dates, and shipment status.
• Review invoices and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Maintain purchasing data in ERP/MRP and prepare reports.
• Follow company purchasing policies and assist in audits.
