Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Entry Level Procurement Agent (Level 1) for the Experimental Systems Group in Seal Beach, California. This 100% onsite role reports to ESG and offers 1st shift work with travel up to 15% and a focus on supplier performance, sourcing strategies, and contract documentation.

Ideal candidates have basic supplier or supply chain experience, strong MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills, and solid written communication abilities.

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Procurement Agent (Level 1) to join our Experimental Systems Group (ESG) in Seal Beach, California.

Position Responsibilities

• Obtains proposals, evaluates sources, monitors and reports supplier performance
• Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
• Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements to comply with company procedures and federal acquisition requirements
• Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift

This position is for 1st shift.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Experience in supplier management or supply chain management
• Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience applying proper writing mechanics, grammar, and punctuation to reports, essays, or other detailed writings

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience presenting to multiple levels of an organization

Typical Education/Experience

Typically related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Travel

Summary pay range: $62,900 - $77,700
