Job summary

WSP in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an Early Career Process Water / Plumbing Engineer to join our Property & Buildings Team. You will support the design, development, and inspection of high purity water, process water, and plumbing systems on infrastructure and building projects.

Under supervision, you will collect data from sites and drawings, assist with load calculations and design requirements, and help prepare concise documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–1 year of post-education experience.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with design/build processes.
• Knowledge of plumbing and mechanical codes/regulations.
• Effective communication with engineering and non-engineering audiences.
• Detail-oriented with good multi-tasking.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Proficient with technical writing and common software.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data from sites, plans, schematics, and drawings for project development.
• Assist with designing and inspecting plumbing, fire protection, and fluid systems.
• Provide entry-level technical assistance on design requirements and load calculations.
• Verify site characteristics and provide basic engineering guidance.
• Generate complete, accurate documentation using electronic systems and field logs.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
