Job summary

Garver’s Greenville Water Design Center in Greenville, SC seeks an Entry-Level Process Mechanical Engineer to contribute to design from conceptual planning to bid-ready documents under senior guidance. You will work on water/wastewater treatment processes, equipment layout, and multi-discipline coordination with teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical, biosystems/agricultural or related engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Master's degree in civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical, or biosystems/agricultural or related engineering discipline (preferred).
• Registered as an Engineer Intern (EIT) or able to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with lift stations, booster pump stations, chemical feed, and water/wastewater treatment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design of water and wastewater treatment processes.
• Support of water and wastewater process evaluation, selection, and implementation.
• Pump station design and equipment selection.
• Chemical storage and feed system design.
• Blower sizing and blower system design.
• Piping and instrumentation drawing production.
• Specification and contract document preparation.
• Support of construction projects and development of construction drawings and 3D models.
