Job summary

CRB in San Diego is seeking an Entry-Level Process Engineer to assist design of manufacturing facilities and critical utility systems, performing heat transfer and pressure drop calculations and documenting process design scope.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers and designers, support field installation teams, and contribute to design development, drawings, and specifications under a mentor.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical or bioprocess engineering.
• 0 to 3 years of experience in a design firm setting.
• Fundamentals of Engineering exam registration or completion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the documentation of the process design scope in coordination with other disciplines.
• Works closely with other architects, engineers and designers to ensure a coordinated, constructible and complete design.
• Self-checks own work but communicates often with peers and Supervisor.
• Able to work on one or more projects concurrently and manage time effectively.
• Solves complex problems under the direction and supervision of a mentor or supervisor.
• Engineering deliverables include: Block and Process Flow Diagrams, User Requirements Specifications, Equipment List, Equipment General Arrangements, Equipment Datasheets, Utility Summary, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams(P&IDs).
