Job summary

C-P Systems is seeking an entry-level Chemical or Mechanical Engineer to support design, development, and implementation of industrial process systems. You will assist in process modeling, equipment sizing, instrumentation development, and construction bid packages while gaining hands-on project experience.

The role starts hybrid with regular onboarding travel to Vadnais Heights; once trained, it may move to fully remote with optional office attendance.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering preferred; Mechanical/Industrial considered with relevant experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing or similar environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• US Citizenship may be required by some customers for certain IP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PFDs and P&IDs for new and existing process systems.
• Size pumps, heat exchangers, condensers, and relief devices; perform related calculations.
• Model fluid flow and hydraulics for piping and equipment sizing.
• Prepare instrument, valve, and equipment data sheets and BOMs.
