Job summary

Canon USA is seeking a hands-on technician to perform pre-installations and configurations of Canon copier equipment, with on-the-job training for setup and basic used equipment evaluations.

You will maintain metrics, manage Canon property, and obtain certifications while collaborating with internal teams. Overtime and travel may be required; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent; plus <1 year related experience.
• Degree in Electronics or equivalent training; with 1 year Electrical/Mechanical industry exp.
• Good working knowledge of PCs and office software.
• Basic understanding of networking helpful.
• Capable of accessing E-support and updating system software on Canon devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-installations and configurations.
• Maintain performance metrics (labor time, service calls, quality).
• Maintain Canon property and technical information; obtain trainings/certifications.
• Communicate with team and internal departments to complete work on time.
• Assist in other Logistics functions and follow shop processes.
