Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. in Monroe, NJ is seeking a Pre-Install Copier Technician I to perform basic pre-install and configuration work on machines. OJT training begins in configuration, with potential for development through Canon training and on-the-job learning.

This full-time role requires on-site presence at assigned offices/territories. The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to standards, and ongoing skill growth in pre-install tasks and MFD configurations.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required with <1 year related experience.
• Degree in Electronics or equivalent training with 1 year electrical/mechanical experience, or 3 months pre-install experience.
• Proficiency with PCs and basic networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-installs/configurations daily at or above model benchmark.
• Maintain monthly labor time and adhere to shop standards.
• Communicate with team and internal departments for timely prep of used machines.
• Work overtime as needed and follow all shop procedures.
