Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a hands-on technician role in Irving, TX to configure copier equipment during pre-installations and to conduct basic used equipment evaluations.

On-the-job training will be provided to prepare for installation and to support other logistics tasks. Responsibilities include performing daily pre-installs, maintaining performance metrics, obtaining certifications, and collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus less than one year of related experience.
• Degree in Electronics, or equivalent training, with at least 1 year Electrical/Mechanical industry experience, or at least three months hands on pre-installation experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-installations and configurations.
• Maintain metrics for service calls and work quality.
• Obtain equipment training and certifications.
• Communicate with team and internal departments for timely completion.
• Travel to support regional locations as needed.
• Lift up to 50–75 lbs with/without team lift.
• Work on site full-time and flexibility for overtime.
