Westinghouse Electric Company LLC through WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking a Power System Planning Engineer – Level 1 (Entry Level) for a 1-year contract in Juno Beach, Florida. You will support renewable energy and transmission projects, collect inputs, maintain documentation, and track study progress with teams and consultants.

The role involves modeling, basic studies, and using industry tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, and PSLF, with supervision from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
• Interest in power systems, renewable energy, and transmission planning.

Responsibilities

• Collect engineering drawings and datasheets for modeling and studies.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, specs, and equipment data.
• Participate in team meetings and discuss with guidance from senior engineers.
• Assist in basic power flow, voltage and stability studies under supervision.
• Learn and apply PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, PSLF tools.
• Support creation and validation of models for solar, wind, and battery projects.
• Prepare draft reports and presentations for senior staff review.
