Burford’s Construction is seeking an entry-level Learner to assist with clearing and maintaining our power grid corridors. You will support vegetation management, operate basic equipment, and join storm restoration efforts as needed.

This role emphasizes safety, physical stamina, and the ability to follow directions. Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel and work overtime as required.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willing to work overtime and travel as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in removal, clearing, and vegetation maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE.
• Support team to meet project objectives.
• Join storm restoration efforts when required.
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve skills.
