Job summary

Hennig is seeking an entry-level Powder Coat Painter I in Illinois to support powder coating operations. You will prepare and clean parts, hang and unhang materials, and organize parts while following fabrication plans.

You will use required tools and assist with painting under the direction of experienced team members. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year in manufacturing; reading English is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
• Experience: One year of continuous experience in a manufacturing environment required; experience as a Paint Powder Coater preferred.
• Reading Ability: Must be able to read and understand English

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean parts for powder coating.
• Hang and unhang materials per job requirements.
• Organize parts by model number, unit number, or job number.
• Follow fabrication plans and verify completion of tasks.
• Use power/hand tools and operate equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work center and observe 5S requirements.
