Job summary

Tyson Foods' Forest, MS Poultry Plant is hiring a General Labor Team Member to perform entry-level production and support tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson Foods policies, food safety standards, and quality expectations. Team members may rotate across departments based on operational needs.

You will assist with material handling, production support, sanitation, record-keeping, and communicating any safety concerns to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Entry-level general labor tasks in a poultry plant.
• Must be able to perform physical duties.
• Background checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote Tyson Foods' safety culture at all times.
• Perform general production and labor duties throughout the facility.
• Support poultry processing, packaging, sorting, inspection, and product handling operations.
• Maintain product quality and food safety standards.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and production lines using approved methods.
• Operate basic hand tools and production equipment as trained.
• Complete required production records, logs, and documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production and safety concerns.
• Assist with material handling, product movement, and production support activities.
• Perform additional duties to support plant operations.
