Qualifications

• Mandatory steps: Orientation, Background Questionnaire, Polygraph Examination, Background Investigation (including credit check), Panel Interview, Psychological Examination, Medical Examination, Drug Screen, and Driver License Check.

Responsibilities

• Patrols a designated area to preserve law and order and enforce regulations.
• Answers calls involving fires, vehicle accidents, disturbances and crimes.
• Secures crime scenes, administers first aid, gathers evidence, and makes arrests.
• Testifies in court in connection with arrests and citations.
• Maintains records and prepares reports.
