The Bothell Police Department is seeking entry-level police officers who embody integrity, courage, compassion, leadership and creativity. Successful candidates will be dedicated professionals committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others daily in Bothell, Washington.

Officers may pursue specialty assignments such as ALERT Team, Field Training Officers, Detectives, SWAT, and K-9 roles. Patrol officers work fourteen 12-hour shifts in a 28-day cycle, with a 3-day weekend every other

Qualificações

• Citizenship or lawful permanent residency required by list.
• Must be at least 21 years old by certification date.
• Medical exam and drug screen by licensed physician required.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a valid State of Washington Driver's License.
• Clean driving record with no significant moving violations.
• No crimes involving moral character.
• Successful completion of oral, psychological, and polygraph tests.
• Possession of Basic Law Enforcement School Certificate or CJTC equivalency.
• Ability to satisfactorily complete field training.

Responsabilidades

• Police Officers are expected to perform patrol duties conscientiously and independently.
• Handle patrol assignments and special assignments as assigned.
• Interviews and investigations as required while following policies.
• Performance reviewed by supervisor with regular appraisal.
