Quality Plumbing in Seattle, WA, is hiring an Entry-Level Plumbing Helper for a full-time, on-site role. You’ll learn the plumbing trade through hands-on work, supporting journeyman and service plumbers on residential projects. You’ll start with basic duties like demolition, digging, moving materials, and job-site prep, with supervision as you develop skills. A company vehicle is provided for work use.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced plumbers with installations, repairs, and other job-site activities.
• Complete physical prep work (digging, demolition, moving materials).
• Transport tools, equipment, and materials to/from job sites.
• Safely operate tools and equipment under supervision.
• Keep vehicles and job sites clean, organized, and safe.
• Observe seasoned plumbers and learn established methods and best practices.
• Follow instructions and ask questions to grow plumbing knowledge.
• Take on basic plumbing tasks as skills develop.

Entry-Level Plumbing Helper

Location: Seattle, WA | Full-time, on-site/field-based

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM

Pay: $22 - $25 per hour, based on experience

Quality Plumbing has served the Seattle area since 1978, earning a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and high-end residential remodeling work. Our approximately 23-person team includes multiple generations from five different families, with many employees who have built decades-long careers here.

As an Entry-Level Plumbing Helper, you will learn the plumbing trade through hands-on experience while supporting journeyman and service plumbers on residential projects. This is a physically active, entry-level opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and serious about building a career in the trades. Your work may include demolition, digging, moving materials, preparing job sites, and assisting experienced plumbers. As your knowledge and abilities develop, you will begin taking on basic plumbing tasks under supervision. You will also receive a company-provided work vehicle and gain exposure to high-end residential remodeling and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist experienced plumbers with installations, repairs, and other job-site activities
• Complete physical preparation work, including digging, demolition, and moving materials
• Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites
• Safely operate tools and equipment while working under supervision
• Keep vehicles and job sites clean, organized, and safe
• Observe experienced plumbers and learn established methods and best practices
• Follow instructions and ask questions to strengthen your plumbing knowledge
• Take on basic plumbing assignments as your skills develop

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined and interested in hands-on work
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Humble, teachable attitude and genuine desire to learn
• Ability to perform the physical responsibilities of the position, including digging, demolition, and moving tools and materials
• Ability to work safely and follow instructions
• Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company vehicle-insurance requirements
• Ability to report reliably to our North Seattle location by 7:00 AM.

Pay and Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 position
• Pay: $22 - $25 per hour, based on experience
• Hands-on training and mentoring from experienced plumbing professionals
• Consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• No nights, weekends, or on-call work
