Job summary

Luminant Generation Company LLC in Graham, Texas, is seeking an entry-level Plant Operator to gain hands-on experience across plant systems while operating equipment within specifications and environmental regulations.

Under supervision, you will read meters, report anomalies, assist with mechanical, electrical, and control tasks, and maintain safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout and PPE, building foundational knowledge of the plant cycle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years related experience
• Basic computer skills
• Effective oral & verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Reads meters and records data at specified intervals
• Reports malfunctioning equipment or abnormal readings to supervisor
• Provides mechanical, electrical, and control skills for maintaining equipment
• Understands relationships of equipment to plant systems
• Performs troubleshooting and assists in problem resolution
• Adheres to safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, PPE
