Job summary

County Materials Family of Companies in Rib Falls, WI, is seeking an entry-level Plant Team - Pipe to support concrete pipe and precast production. You will prepare, assemble, and maintain molds, forms, reinforcement, and materials under guidance to ensure safe, efficient operations.

This role offers on-the-job training for equipment, safety, and production processes, with opportunities to learn and cross-train across the plant.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0–2 years of related manufacturing, production, construction, or plant experience.
• Ability to exercise good judgment when working around machinery and unloading materials.
• Strong teamwork mindset with flexibility to support production needs.
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing workloads.
• Safety-minded approach to all job tasks.
• Willingness and ability to learn, be trained, and cross-train on equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, inspect, and stage concrete forms and molds before each production cycle.
• Read and follow basic production instructions, layouts, and shop drawings.
• Place and secure steel reinforcement using tie guns, clip guns, or hand wire tools.
• Install concrete accessories such as steps, knockouts, spacers, and inserts.
• Clean forms, tools, molds, and production areas after each cycle.
• Stage materials and components to support continuous concrete production.
• Assemble and position form components according to drawings.
• Operate small forklifts and other material-handling equipment after training.
• Apply concrete release oil to molds and components as directed.
• Assist with moving, setting up, and cleaning headers, pallets, and equipment for pours.
• Operate overhead or jib cranes after training to move materials safely.
• Work safely around automated production equipment with awareness.
• Participate in quality control checks, safety meetings, and plant clean-up activities.
