Job summary

County Materials Family of Companies is hiring a Plant Team Member to join the Maxwell, IN facility. The role supports daily concrete pipe and precast production by preparing molds, forms, reinforcement, and materials used in production.

Entry-level with comprehensive training in equipment, safety, and production processes. Responsibilities include staging materials, following drawings, installing reinforcements, and maintaining clean, safe work areas while supporting continuous production and

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0–2 years of related manufacturing, production, construction, or plant experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing workloads.
• Strong teamwork mindset and safety-focused approach.
• Willingness to learn and cross-train on equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, inspect, and stage concrete forms and molds before production.
• Read and follow basic production instructions and drawings.
• Move and secure reinforcement using tie/clip guns or hand tools.
• Install concrete accessories and perform cleanup after cycles.
• Operate material handling equipment after training and certification.
• Support production needs and participate in safety and quality checks.
