Job summary

County Materials Family of Companies in Maxwell, IN, is hiring a Plant Team Member to support daily concrete pipe and precast production. You will prepare molds, stage materials, and assist with forming and reinforcement under guidance from experienced teammates.

This entry-level role includes training on equipment, safety, and production processes. Responsibilities include following production instructions, moving materials, and helping keep work areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of related manufacturing, production, construction, or plant experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to exercise good judgment around machinery and unloading materials.
• Strong teamwork mindset with flexibility to support production needs.
• Self-motivation with ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing workloads.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, inspect, and stage concrete forms and molds.
• Read and follow basic production instructions, layouts, and shop drawings.
• Place and secure steel reinforcement using tie guns or hand tools.
• Install concrete accessories such as steps and inserts.
• Clean forms, tools, and production areas after each cycle.
