Job summary

County Materials is seeking entry-level teammates for the Plant Team in Rib Falls, WI. You’ll support concrete pipe and precast operations by preparing and maintaining molds, forms, and reinforcement, with on-the-job training for equipment, safety, and processes.

Responsibilities include staging materials, following drawings, assembling components, and operating basic handling equipment after certification. This is a hands-on role with safety focus and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0-2 years of related manufacturing, production, construction, or plant experience.
• Ability to exercise good judgment around machinery and unloading materials.
• Strong teamwork mindset with flexibility to support production needs.
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing workloads.
• Safety-minded approach to all job tasks.
• Willingness to learn, be trained, and cross-train on equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, inspect, and stage concrete forms and molds before each production cycle.
• Read and follow basic production instructions, layouts, and shop drawings.
• Place and secure steel reinforcement using tie guns, clip guns, or hand tools.
• Install concrete accessories such as steps, spacers, and inserts.
• Clean forms, tools, molds, and production areas after each cycle.
