Overview

Entry-Level Plant Operator position located in Moses Lake, WA. Full-time, rotating shifts (6am–6pm and 6pm–6am). High School diploma or equivalent required. Salary range: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour. Company: Moses Lake Industries, Inc. (MLI) is a producer of ultra-pure chemical products serving the semiconductor and flat-panel screen industries worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the production process and ensure efficiency of systems and equipment.
  • Prepare product containers (bottles, drums, totes, etc.) for filling.
  • Formulate and batch product according to customer specifications.
  • Fill containers with product following clean room requirements.
  • Prepare product for shipment.
  • Document plant processes and record production data.
  • Transport full and empty product containers using appropriate industrial equipment.
  • Train uncertified Chemical Operators according to procedures.
  • Handle or move raw materials, chemicals, components, equipment, or finished goods with care.
  • Stock product and packaging supplies.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a safe, clean work environment.
  • Complete tasks and hours needed to accomplish departmental and company goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Salary & Benefits

Please note that the salary information below is a general guideline. Salaries are based on candidate experience and qualifications, market and business considerations.

  • Summary pay range:
    • Chemical Operator I: $22–$25/hour
    • Chemical Operator II: $24–$30/hour
    • Chemical Operator III: $27–$33/hour
  • Generous PTO

Working Conditions

Duties are generally indoors in a high-purity manufacturing environment with quiet to moderate noise levels. Safety rules and PPE (hardhat, safety glasses, leather shoes) are required. Employees may work in a Process Safety Management (PSM) environment with flammable liquids/gases. Devices not intrinsically safe (e.g., insulin pumps, pacemakers) are not permitted in this environment.
