Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA, Inc. in Pryor, AR is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair plant equipment, conveyors, drives and pumps.

You will perform installations, alignments, tests and preventive maintenance to keep the cement plant running safely and efficiently. Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, can read blueprints, lift up to 75–100 lbs., and work shifts including overtime.

Qualifications

• Use of bulk handling conveyors.
• Familiar with mechanical drive maintenance.
• Knowledge and reading of blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, and power transmission equipment.
• Welding principles and arc welding operations.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and works from prints and technical instructions.
• Installs, tests, maintains and repairs mechanical equipment.
• Keeps work area and equipment neat and clean.
• Subject to shift work.
• Inspects, tests and aligns testing equipment throughout the plant.
