Starting wage is $36.45 per hour. You will work in a manufacturing environment with rotating shifts, extended hours and overtime as needed, and you must pass specific assessments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Industrial maintenance experience in a plant setting required.
• Able to work extended hours, holidays and overtime.
• Able to work rotating shifts.
• Speak, read, write and understand English.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in year-round weather.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs., sit/stand for long periods, climb ladders.
• Must pass Wonderlic and Ramsay MECTEST assessments.
• Working knowledge of maintenance and welding.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Interprets and works from prints and technical instructions.
  
  
  • Furnishes and uses own complement of hand tools, company tools and equipment.
  
  
  • Keeps work area and equipment neat and clean.
  
  
  • Installs, tests, maintains and repairs all mechanical equipment in accordance with regulations and specifications; fits, assembles, erects, installs, maintains and repairs mechanical plant and equipment.
  
  
  • Inspects, tests and aligns testing equipment throughout the plant.
  
  
  • Installs, troubleshoots, adjusts, services, maintains and repairs mechanical equipment for various types of lifts and conveyor belts.
  
  
  • Maintains the machines and equipment in efficient operating condition.
  
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent from accredited institution is required


• Industrial Maintenance Experience in a Plant type setting is required


• Able to work different extended hours, holidays and/or overtime as required


• Able to work rotating shifts


• Speak, read, write and understand English


• Ability to work independently, without constant supervision


• Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditions


• In good physical condition, able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods of time, kneel, climb ladders and walk on mixed terrain and in confined spaces


• Complete and pass required assessment tests (Wonderlic and Ramsay MECTEST)


• Must possess a working knowledge of maintenance and welding
