Vulcan Materials Company seeks a General Maintenance helper to assist with routine tasks around the worksite. This entry-level role offers exposure to preventive maintenance and basic mechanical tasks under supervision.

You will learn plant maintenance fundamentals, observe operations, document service logs, and support the maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Candidates with a High School diploma or GED and an interest in heavy equipment maintenance are encouraged to apply.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in maintenance, preferably with heavy equipment.
• Basic safety procedures knowledge and ability to follow MSHA/OSHA rules.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and perform preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and replace basic mechanical components like belts, idlers, pulleys, and pumps.
• Perform structural repairs and replace heavy wear-parts using welding, cutting, grinding.
• Adhere to MSHA/OSHA regulations and maintain a hazard-free work area.
• Observe operations to identify anomalies and perform minor adjustments.
• Record service logs and maintenance records for plant equipment.
