PIPER Dayton is hiring in Dayton, TN for an entry-level pipe installer/fitter. You will perform pipe assembly, cutting, threading, and fitting using a hydraulic bender and torch set, with PPE provided. The role develops skills in reading diagrams and following instructions in a manufacturing environment.

This position starts at an entry level, offering hands-on training across various pipe-related tasks and related duties as needed to support team production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to read a tape measure to 1/8 inch.
• Follow verbal instructions.
• Use hand tools.

Responsabilités

• Cut, thread, and bend pipe with a hydraulic bender.
• Assemble and install metal and plastic pipes and fittings.
• Operate acetylene/oxygen torch set.
• Read layout drawings and piping diagrams.
• Wear appropriate PPE and work in production areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
