You will weld stainless and copper-nickel piping using GTAW/TIG, in a fast-paced shipyard environment, across multiple shifts and weather conditions. Safety is emphasized in all procedures.

Qualifications

• Pipe Welder HA must have graduated from a pipe welder program at a vo-tech school or other training school.
• Program must have training in TIG root and stick fill and cap on steel piping in the 6GR position.
• Mississippi Tech Master Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe welding procedures on Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel piping using GTAW (TIG).
• Work in a shipyard environment with around-the-clock production and multiple shifts.
• Be prepared to work day or night based on construction schedules.
• Adhere to safety procedures meeting or exceeding industry standards.
