Job summary

You will work alongside experienced crew to prepare trenches, position pipe, and assist with measurements and backfilling while maintaining a safe, organized work site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Entry-level position with on-the-job training.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pipe Layer and crew with installation of underground utilities.
• Help prepare work areas and pipe routes using project plans.
• Load, unload, and organize pipe, fittings, and materials.
• Assist with assembling and repairing underground piping.
• Support with grade and elevation checks using levels and lasers.
• Position and align pipe during installation.
• Prepare trenches and bedding materials; assist backfilling.
• Maintain an organized work area and follow safety procedures.
