Qualifications

• PT licensure in Texas (PSV Compact acceptable within 90 days)
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Graduate of an approved physical therapy education program
• Ability to communicate effectively in English

Responsibilities

• Performs complete and comprehensive evaluation of patients to identify level of function and determine the treatment plan.
• Develops and implements the therapy plan of care based on evaluation findings and progress.
• Provides education to patients and family members based on learning needs.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to modify treatment plans and progress toward patient goals.
• Advocates for patient and family to identify and resolve clinical and ethical concerns.
• Contributes to maintaining patient safety and department standards.
