Heartland Business Systems is seeking an entry-level Physical Security Installer I in Iowa. The role involves assisting with installation and implementation of video surveillance, access control, structured cabling, and related low-voltage systems under supervision.

You will read drawings, follow installation instructions, and maintain safety and quality standards on project sites. We expect you to travel to customer sites, support project execution with Foreman and Project Manager, document

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Able to use basic hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install and support the implementation of video surveillance, access control, structured cabling, and related low-voltage systems under supervision.
• Read project drawings, scopes of work, and installation instructions.
• Maintain compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and applicable codes.
• Travel to customer sites as required; meet annual billable hour goal.
• Document time, materials, and completed work accurately.
• Coordinate with Foreman and Project Manager to support project execution.
