Heartland Business Systems is seeking an entry-level Physical Security Installer I to assist with the installation and implementation of video surveillance, access control, structured cabling, paging and related low-voltage systems. The role works under the Foreman and Project Manager to build technical proficiency while delivering quality workmanship and a positive customer experience.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Able to use basic hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install and support video surveillance, access control, and low-voltage systems under supervision.
• Perform cable pulling, terminations, mounting, device installation, and equipment setup.
• Read project drawings and follow installation instructions.
• Maintain safety and compliance with codes and company standards.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and escalate more complex ones as needed.
• Coordinate with Foreman/PM and document time, materials, and work performed.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
