Qualifications

• Entry-level or >1 year hospital experience
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of accredited Phlebotomy/MLA/MA program or certification-eligible

Responsibilities

• Label blood tubes immediately after collection
• Follow infection control procedures to maintain a sterile collection site
• Identify patients using two identifiers per protocol
• Report adverse phlebotomy events to supervisor
• Complete required TB tests and maintain PPE
• Perform phlebotomy rounds and manage workload efficiently
• Maintain neat, clean work areas and phlebotomy trays
