Job description

About the Role

Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect will become life‑changing medicines. A commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and act as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.

This position will require 6‑8 weeks of travel for training purposes. All travel expenses for training will be covered by the company and will include cost of flights, rental car, lodging, and meals. Travel home for the weekend may be permitted and can be discussed further in the interview process.

How You Will Contribute
  • Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring their safety and support.
  • Screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results.
  • Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
  • Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures.
  • Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
What You Bring to Takeda
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
  • Ability to lift to 5 lbs., occasional lifting up to 32 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
  • Awareness of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens; 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer or patient‑facing role.
BioLife Compensation and Benefits Summary

Location: USA – PA – Camp Hill.

U.S. Starting Hourly Wage: $16.00 per hour. The actual wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for this location.

U.S. employees may be eligible for short‑term incentives and participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well‑being benefits. U.S. employees may receive up to 80 hours of sick time per calendar year, and new hires may accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
