Job summary

Scientific Search is seeking an entry-level Chemist I in Royston, GA to perform analytical testing in a cGMP manufacturing environment. You will work hands-on with HPLC, GC, UV‑Vis, FTIR, and wet chemistry techniques to support product quality and patient safety.

The role offers a $50,000 salary and excellent benefits, with responsibilities including testing materials, preparing reagents, and documenting activities per ALCOA+ standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific discipline.
• Knowledge of basic analytical techniques and familiarity with HPLC, GC, UV‑Vis, FTIR, and analytical balances.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain accuracy under cGMP conditions.

Responsibilities

• Test raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples.
• Prepare reagents, standards, solutions, and samples.
• Perform wet chemistry, titrations, UV‑Vis, FTIR, and additional chromatography testing.
• Document laboratory activities following cGMP, GDP, and ALCOA+ principles.
• Support OOS/OOT investigations, equipment calibration, audits, and inspections.
