Job summary

Actalent is seeking a QC Scientist I to perform bench testing, including sample preparation, wet chemistry, and dilutions, with future training in HPLC and GC. The role spans the Oral Dose Solids and Nasals departments, supporting manufacturable multisource products and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities include method validation/transfer assistance, cGXP compliance, and precise documentation. Work in a fast-paced Columbus, OH environment with two shifts and potential schedule adjustments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science field (Chemistry or Biochemistry)
• Experience in biochemistry or chemistry lab environments
• Ability to work in a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical and physical analyses to support product development.
• Provide analytical support for the release of registration materials.
• Assist with analytical method validation and transfer activities.
• Perform analytical tasks within assigned timelines, ensuring compliance with cGXP standards.
• Document analytical activities and results accurately and timely.
• Identify and troubleshoot execution challenges of analytical methods.
