Job summary

Amneal is seeking an entry-level Compression Operator for the 2nd shift (3:30pm–12:00am, Mon–Fri) in Brookhaven, NY. You will set up and operate compression machinery, ensure cGMP compliance, and support high-quality pharmaceutical production.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, 1+ year in pharma/manufacturing, and the ability to read/write in English. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and willingness to work extended hours if needed.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and basic math skills.
• Good communication abilities in English.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing setting preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate compression machinery per SOPs.
• Perform in-process checks: weight, thickness, hardness, friability, tablet weight.
• Clean compression rooms per B and A level cleaning protocols.
