AAA Northeast in Hamden, CT is seeking an Insurance Customer Service Representative I to deliver Five Diamond service to clients. This entry-level role focuses on building a foundation in Personal Lines while supporting policy-related inquiries and transactions.

Training is remote for ~15 weeks with licensing required within the first 30 days. Schedule options include 40-hour weeks with varied shifts, some weekend work, and holiday commitments. A robust benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year customer service experience required.
• Must obtain Personal Lines License within the first 30 days of employment.
• Training and licensing material will be provided.
• Remote training is available for ~15 weeks before going into the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day servicing of personal lines policies, answering questions on coverages, discounts, registrations and claims.
• Process policy transactions using carrier systems.
• Identify opportunities to upgrade coverages and recommend products or services.
• Research premium differences and resolve discrepancies by contacting insureds and agents.
• Build and manage customer relationships to improve service delivery.
