Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an entry-level Personal Banker SAFE Act in Bronx, NY. You will support sales, products and service activities in coordination with the customer service team to foster relationships and increase loyalty among individual consumer clients.

Responsibilities include handling small business lending referrals, cross-selling treasury products, coaching branch staff, and guiding clients through digital channels while complying with Citi policies and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in banking, retail, or sales preferred.
• Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies.
• NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with business credit requests under $250K and refer larger opportunities.
• Build referral opportunities through COIs and MGM program.
• Assist in strategies to grow the small business client and implement sales plans.
• Deliver client services and outbound/inbound calls to acquire and deepen relationships.
• Coach tellers and branch staff on products and referrals.
• Educate clients on service channels and digital tools, presenting financial solutions.
• Comply with Citibank policies, standards, and procedures.
• Assess risk and escalate control issues with transparency.
