Responsibilities

• Safely and promptly transport patients to destinations and coordinate with staff.
• Assist patient care staff with equipment handling and transfer procedures.
• Notify nursing staff on arrival and verify patient identification.
• Disinfects transport equipment and returns it to proper locations.
• Ensure equipment is safe to use and report any malfunctions.
• Interact with team members and keep staff informed of changes or delays.
• Adhere to applicable policies and infection control procedures.
• Orient and assist in training transport associates.
