Enloe Health is seeking an entry-level Patient Access Representative I in Chico, CA. The role trains the incumbent to collect and analyze demographic, insurance, financial and clinical data to register patients under close supervision.

You will support efficient operations, expeditious reimbursement and high consumer satisfaction while upholding Enloe Medical Center’s values and code of conduct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 6 months experience in an office environment performing general clerical duties to include data collection, data entry, typing, customer relations and filing.
• Must be able to follow instructions, learn the work routines associated with patient access workflow; work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment; must have good customer service and time management skills.
• Capable of using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (Microsoft Office Suite) computer skills and general office equipment.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Access Representative I is trained to collect and analyze required demographic, insurance, financial and clinical data elements to register patients under close supervision.
• Provide routine patient access activities to facilitate efficient operations, expeditious reimbursement and optimal consumer satisfaction and to promote teamwork.
