Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking an entry-level Production Apprentice for our Texarkana, TX mill. This role supports manufacturing operations on high-speed equipment, performing material movements, labeling, and packaging tasks in a safe, efficient manner.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math/reading/writing skills, and ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift including holidays and weekends. Background checks and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow written plans and procedures.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Physical requirements: standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, reaching.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, and overtime.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Background and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support high-speed, continuous process equipment.
• Assist in materials movement, labeling and packaging.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment per procedures.
• Communicate with Operator, Maintenance, and Supervisor for field adjustments.
• Perform housekeeping duties throughout the mill area.
• Follow SOPs to start, stop and adjust production equipment.
• Handle tasks as assigned by supervision.
